Too Cool For School
Art & Science Fair
Harbourfront Centre, Toronto, May 8, 2010
The Too Cool For School Art & Science Fair is an interdisciplinary project in which people from all walks of life come together in a convergence of art and science. The event is structured just like a school science fair participants will display their projects on rows of tables, and will be on hand to discuss their work with the public. The difference is that this event is as much about art as it is about science. Participants will be selected from an open call for submissions on the basis of originality, depth of inquiry, creative innovation and the element of surprise.

Message sent via Canadians for Net Neutrality

Posted by Laura Paolini on January 7th, 2010

Not my words, but from Marie Elliot

Last fall, when the Liberal Party released new official party policies that support an open Internet, SaveOurNet.ca suggested a Q&A with the Liberals to further detail their digital strategy policy.

Liberal MP Marc Garneau has answered our questions. Some readers may recall that Garneau called out the Conservatives on Net Neutrality last year.

SaveOurNet.ca will ask the other parties these same questions.
Find the SaveOurNet.ca Q&A HERE: http://saveournet.ca/liberal

We hope that the Liberal Party’s position on Net Neutrality will add pressure to Tony Clement, who we’ve asked to mandate ISP audits.

Please use Social Media to spread the word. The more people who know about this, the more pressure the Conservatives will feel to stand up for Internet Openness:

If you haven’t yet, please tell Tony Clement to stand up for Internet Openness. This Q&A added that citizen letters could push Clement over the edge.
